The Nexus 7 is a 7-Inch tablet jointly developed by Google/Asus and is competing with similar sized tablets such as the Amazon Kindle Fire, Blackberry Playbook and possibly the rumoured 'iPad Mini'.

Stunning clarity is provided on a vibrant 1280 x 800 high-resolution display which is protected by scratch resistant Corning™ glass.

The latest version of the Android operating system 4.1 (codenamed Jelly Bean) is included together with a 1.2GHz quad core processor and 12-core graphics processor. Other features include a 1.2 megapixel front-facing camera, Wi-Fi connectivity and up to 10 hours of web browsing on a single battery charge.

Two Nexus Seven models are available, 8GB storage at a retail price of $199 and 16GB with a price starting at $249.
